FDA Engineers is looking for a Head of Discipline to lead the Mechanical Piping area.
Position requirements:
Graduated as Mechanical Civil Engineer.
Minimum 12 years of experience.
Capacity for teamwork and technical rigor.
Availability to travel within Chile. (Eventual)
Microsoft Office proficiency.
Experience managing teams of engineers and designers.
Experience in equipment design in mining projects.
Knowledge of metallurgical processes.
Experience in fluid transportation system design.
Knowledge of regulations applicable to the design of pipes.
Position Responsibilities:
Direct, plan, organize and coordinate a work team.
Ensure that engineering review processes meet quality requirements and standards.
Integrate and supervise human and material resources for the correct execution of the specialty.
Supervise all activities and deliverables under your responsibility.
Verify that the services are executed as established in the contracts.
Responsible for the leadership of the discipline as a professional, technical and administrative reference.
Establish execution parameters and technical compliance in designs, deliverables and activities.
Collaborate in the definition and precision of project objectives, in line with your management.
Responsible for the technical quality of the deliverables of the Mechanics-Piping discipline.
