Job Description

At BC Tecnología, you will lead Risk pillar initiatives defined by Global Risk, adapting them to local processes for our high-profile clients in sectors such as financial services, insurance and retail. You will coordinate with local and global teams to execute operational changes without affecting the operation, you will design operational risk controls and facilitate the scalability of automation solutions. You will work in an IT consulting environment with a focus on compliance, risks and continuous improvement, contributing to operational continuity and reduction of reputational and financial risks in the Marketplace.
Your role will combine project management, process analysis (BPMN), cross-functional collaboration and the implementation of controls in alignment with local and global regulations.

Main responsibilities
Lead the implementation of Risk pillar initiatives defined by Global Risk, ensuring their correct adaptation to local processes.
Coordinate with local and global teams to execute operational changes in a timely manner and without negative impact on the operation.
Survey, document and model operational processes using BPMN notation.
Design, implement and validate operational risk controls, verifying their correct functioning according to defined criteria.
Identify opportunities to scale local controls to global teams.
Define functional requirements for automation solutions together with technical teams.
Act as counterpart to the Trust & Safety team, aligning controls according to local and global regulations, avoiding duplication of flows and developments.
Collaborate closely with Compliance, Operations, BI and Automation areas.

Required profile and experiences
• Professional degree in Industrial Civil Engineering, Commercial Engineering or related field.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in similar roles in Operations, Risk, Compliance, BI or similar.
• Experience in Ecommerce or Marketplace (desirable).
• Advanced English / Bilingual (exclusive).
• Excellent communication and transversal work skills.
• Knowledge of process surveying and modeling (BPMN).
• Use of tools such as Visio, Bizagi or other similar tools (exclusive).
• Knowledge of intermediate-advanced SQL (desirable).
