About the role
We are looking for a painting estimator to join our team. This is an entry-level position (no prior estimating experience is required) as we will provide full training. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and able to think logically and problem-solve.

Responsibilities
•\ Assist in preparing estimates for commercial and industrial painting projects.
•\ Read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents.
•\ Perform quantity take-offs and help calculate labor needs.
•\ Gather vendor pricing and assist with proposal preparation.
•\ Maintain organized project files and documentation.
•\ Communicate with team members to clarify project details as needed.
•\ Support senior estimators with day-to-day tasks during training.

Requirements
•\ English proficiency (spoken and written).
•\ Ability to read and understand architectural plans (basic level is acceptable).
•\ Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
•\ Good attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
•\ Basic computer skills (Excel, PDF markup tools, Outlook).
•\ Reliable, proactive, and able to manage time effectively.

Nice to have (Not Required)
•\ Experience in construction, architecture, engineering or related fields.
•\ Familiarity with takeoff software.
