Hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days remote)

Job Description:
Must-Have Qualifications
Strong experience driving AI development, including spec-driven development, use of AI tools (e.g., Copilot), and contributing to AI strategy
Proven leadership and communication skills; ability to take ownership, speak up, and drive results
Hands-on front-end development expertise; will serve as Lead Design Engineer for the client portal
Strong API knowledge; experience working with Angular front-end integrated with secure APIs
Interest in converting to a full-time employee role

Experience Requirements
Minimum 7 years of experience in software engineering
Experience leading development teams in Agile/SAFe environments
Ability to mentor developers and coordinate with offshore teams
Strong communication skills; able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
Lead design and development of digital portal solutions across front-end and back-end systems
Ensure performance, scalability, and security of applications
Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and enforce engineering best practices
Collaborate with product owners, architects, and developers to align business and technical goals
Coordinate with offshore teams on priorities, blockers, and delivery timelines
Support content readiness, including tagging, metadata, and component usage
Promote modern development practices such as automated testing, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies
Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
Additional Requirements
Strong understanding of web security, including AWS and Akamai WAF
Experience with unit testing tools (JUnit, Mockito, SoapUI)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Passion for building secure, scalable, and user-friendly digital products
