We are seeking a Paralegal / Legal Administrative Assistant to provide case management and administrative support in a remote setting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in U.S. law practices.
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage high-volume, lower-complexity probate matters following established workflows.
- Draft and prepare routine legal documents, letters, and correspondence for attorney review.
- Track and organize case files and notes within the firm’s systems.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing clear status updates.
- Calculate and calendar critical deadlines (hearings, filing dates).
- Maintain accurate calendars and send reminders.
- Use Clio (or similar software) for expense tracking, trust account support, and document organization.
- Assist with general legal admin tasks, SOP organization, and applicant screening for future hires.
Requirements:
- English proficiency: C1 level.
- Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or law degree.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or legal admin in a law firm.
- U.S. law experience in probate, estate, real estate, or business law (required).
- Familiarity with Clio or similar practice management software (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
