Job Description

The software development leader will work as a team with the developers under his/her charge, through multidisciplinary work with other areas of the company, with the objective of directing and coordinating the team in the execution of development projects, ensuring that the technical and business requirements are met within the established deadline and budget. This includes managing and configuring cloud services and resources, as well as planning and executing technical tasks. The leader must address both internal and external requirements related to the software architecture, supervising the quality of work and resolving technical problems that may arise. Additionally, you must foster effective collaboration between team members and other stakeholders, ensuring that the project progresses smoothly and that the final results meet the client's standards and expectations.

Functions of the position
Search and propose opportunities for technological innovation and continuous improvement.
Promote a teamwork environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
Be aware of trends and changes in the technological field to adapt the IT strategy.
Provide technical support to the team during the software build phase, helping resolve challenges and providing recommendations on implementing effective solutions.
Implement regular testing and reviews to ensure software quality.
Manage all stages of software development, from planning to implementation and maintenance.
Authorize and execute the deployment to production of the developments carried out, ensuring efficient implementations without interruptions in service.
Configure, manage and deploy services and resources on AWS (EC2 instances, RDS databases, among others) with appropriate security controls.
Diagnose and solve technical problems related to AWS services, ensuring service continuity.

Position requirements - Essentials
Experience: 7 years of experience composed of:
5 years as a Full Stack Developer
2 years leading IT operations development teams
What you need to know at a technical level:
Python (Django/DRF) and JavaScript (minimum 3 years)
API development (REST)
Databases (Postgres)
AWS
Version Control (GIT- GitFlow)
Agile methodologies
