In this role, you will lead data projects in cloud environments for high-profile clients, ensuring scalable solutions aligned to architectural standards. You will work in an agile environment to design and implement data solutions (ETL/ELT), data governance and cloud migrations, collaborating closely with Infrastructure, Development and Business Unit teams. You will participate in continuous improvement, delivery quality and data governance initiatives, driving good CI/CD practices and regulatory compliance. In a hybrid environment, you will combine remote work with presence in our offices to collaborate efficiently with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.

Main functions
Technically lead data teams and AWS projects aimed at data ingestion, processing and storage solutions.
Manage stakeholders and ensure alignment of expectations, scope and deadlines.
Design and review scalable data architectures (ETL/ELT, data lakes, data warehouses) using AWS services (Glue, S3, Redshift, Lambda, Step Functions).
Ensure data governance, quality, security and compliance with CI/CD and version control best practices.
Promote agile practices (Scrum/Kanban), technical leadership, mentoring and team capacity development.
Identify and manage technical risks, define performance indicators and execute mitigation plans.
Collaborate with Infrastructure, Development and business areas to deliver solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
Participate in architecture reviews, solution design and technical documentation.

Requirements and profile
We are looking for an AWS Technical Leader with at least 5 years of experience leading data projects and teams in cloud environments. Solid experience in data projects (ETL/ELT, scalable architectures) and in-depth knowledge of AWS services such as AWS Glue, S3, Redshift, Lambda and Step Functions will be an advantage. Experience in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) is required, as well as data governance, CI/CD and good quality practices. The ideal candidate will combine solid technical skills with leadership skills, effective communication and results orientation.
Technical skills: data architecture design, pipeline orchestration, proficient in SQL, data modeling, security and compliance, stakeholder management, cloud migrations.
Soft skills: collaborative leadership, clear communication, strategic thinking, solution orientation, influence capacity and multifunctional teamwork.

Desirable
Certifications in AWS (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Certified Data Analytics) are a plus. Experience with additional orchestration tools, data science, or data monitoring and observability tools. Knowledge of data governance, quality and metadata, and project experience in regulated sectors are also desirable.
