FactorIT, a leader in technology and data solutions with a presence in 8 countries in Latin America, is looking for a Technical Data Leader to direct high-impact strategic initiatives in transformation and advanced analytics projects. The candidate will join a multidisciplinary team to design engineering and data architecture solutions, enabling sales and execution in large corporations. The position will allow you to participate in regional projects with a focus on governance, data quality and cloud infrastructure modernization, driving innovation and value for clients in the region.

Main functions
Design modern data architectures in Cloud environments, with a focus on scalability and governance.
Technically lead data integration, transformation and modeling projects (ETL/ELT, Data Vault, dimensional). Incorporate Data Governance, Quality and Lineage from the design of solutions.
Define and disseminate standards, best practices and technical guidelines for Data practice.
Accompany technical pre-sales processes in Data & Analytics initiatives and collaborate with sales teams.
Coordinate with Cloud, Modernization and AI teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Guide and technically develop data engineers and architects, promoting mentoring and career development.

Requirements and profile
We are looking for a professional with +7 years of experience in Data Engineering or Architecture and a solid track record in Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, etc.). Must have experience in data modeling (dimensional, Data Vault or other approaches) and data integration (ETL/ELT), as well as the implementation of Data Governance frameworks. Knowledge of advanced SQL and having worked on projects for large corporations is essential. Knowledge in Data Quality and Data Lineage will be an advantage, as well as experience in event or streaming environments (Event Hub, Kafka) and participation in pre-sales processes or RFP definition. Azure certifications (DP-203 or others) will be considered a plus, as well as experience in advanced analytical solutions or integration with AI.

Desirable
Certifications in Azure (DP-203 or others), experience in event-oriented or streaming architectures, and participation in pre-sales or RFP definition processes will be an advantage. Communication and leadership skills for interaction with clients and regional teams, ability to work in a dynamic and results-oriented environment, and a proactive approach towards innovation and continuous improvement.
