Job Description
Media Buying Analyst (Broadcast TV)
Location: Remote – U.S. Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central Time
Compensation: $2,500 USD per month
About the Role:
Workspark is hiring a Media Buying Analyst to embed directly within a top-tier U.S. advertising agency. This is a high-impact role for a media professional who excels at the intersection of precise execution and proactive data analysis.
We are looking for an individual who sets the gold standard for remote collaboration: high responsiveness, meticulous accuracy, and the ability to scale from 2 to 4+ complex campaigns within the first 90 days. You will be expected to own your workflow, manage tight deadlines independently, and provide the transparency needed in a fast-paced agency environment.
What You Will Do:
- Plan & Execute: Launch linear TV media buys based on strategy, CPM goals, and strict budgets.
- Audit with Precision: Perform independent pre-buying audits by Month 3 to ensure flawless campaign launches and \"zero-error\" delivery.
- Real-Time Optimization: Monitor daily pacing and performance; make autonomous budget shifts to hit KPI thresholds (+/- 10%).
- Rapid Reconciliation: Resolve all billing and media discrepancies within a strict 48-hour business window.
- Proactive Communication: Maintain ultra-high responsiveness. You are expected to acknowledge requests within minutes and flag performance risks before they impact the campaign results.
- Analytical Logic: Use Excel/Google Sheets to interpret reports and ensure campaign data is logically sound (e.g., verifying that delivery aligns with spend and goals).
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 2–3+ years of agency experience specifically in Linear TV Media Buying (Digital-only experience will not qualify).
- High Initiative: A \"go-getter\" personality who proactively asks questions and seeks clarity early, rather than waiting for a deadline to pass.
- Time Management Mastery: Proven ability to manage multiple high-stakes deadlines (specifically the critical Thursday 5:00 PM buy deadline) without procrastination.
- Communication Fluency: Excellent, confident English communication skills. You must be able to explain the \"why\" behind your data insights clearly to internal teams.
- Problem-Solving \"Street Smarts\": The ability to look at a data set and quickly identify if something \"feels\" wrong, escalating issues with potential solutions in mind.
Technical Requirements:
- Reliable, high-speed internet with a documented backup power solution (essential for U.S. market hours).
- Functional webcam and headset for daily video collaboration and internal strategy sessions.
- Quiet, professional home office environment.
Why WorkSpark?
- Long-Term Career Stability: This is a full-time, career-track role, not a short-term contract.
- Direct U.S. Agency Exposure: Work with proprietary AI media tools and collaborate with senior industry experts.
- Payroll: Bi-monthly payments made via Wise.
- Benefits: Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave (after probation).
