We are looking for a Moderator to review user-generated posts on digital platforms related to the world of video games and social networks. The selected person will be responsible for enforcing moderation policies, protecting the safety of the community, and ensuring that content meets established standards. This position involves exposure to sensitive content, including images, videos, audio and conversations that may be disturbing.
Responsibilities:
Review content reported in German and English, including comments, chats, images, videos and audio files.
Evaluate content against moderation policies and determine if it violates community standards.
Escalate potentially harmful or high-risk content following established procedures.
Moderate content in accordance with internal guidelines and client-specific policies.
Stay up to date on updates to moderation policies and tools used in the project.
Meet moderation goals and attend scheduled training sessions.
Professionally manage the review of sensitive or potentially shocking content.
Inform supervisors or project managers about technical incidents, problems with the tools or situations related to the content.
Requirements:
Level of German and English, with reading comprehension ability in both languages.
Experience in content moderation, community management or familiarity with the video game ecosystem, forums and digital platforms.
Knowledge of social networks and platforms such as TikTok, Twitch, Discord, Facebook and Instagram, as well as current trends in the gaming sector.
Mastery of digital tools, applications and online platforms.
Ability to work autonomously remotely, effectively organizing tasks, priorities, shifts and training sessions.
