Job Requirements
Exceptional communication skills; comfortable making several customer calls per day, sending numerous emails
Ability to develop a strong rapport with customers and deliver exceptional service while efficiently obtaining information; diligently follow up until required information has been obtained
Excellent time management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities
Ability to analyze account activity, POS reports, audits and financials
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to maintain professionalism at all times
Self-starter; ability to work independently as well as within the team framework
Intellectual curiosity and desire to continue to learn and develop everyday
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office/365 applications with an emphasis on Excel
Ability to commute to the Medford office three days per week

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
2+ years in banking, financial services, compliance, BSA/AML
2+ years in a customer-facing role

PAY RANGE: $25.73 - $33.45 - hourly

The Specialized Banking Center (SBC) at Needham Bank provides business banking services for high-risk industries, including cannabis-related businesses, money services businesses, and BaaS providers.
This full-time, hybrid position is part of the growing SBC Operations and Compliance team and is responsible for managing compliance of the SBC portfolio, conducting customer outreach, and coordinating with state agencies and internal departments across the Bank.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage compliance alerts and cases related to state/federal licensing and registration, sales reporting, account activity, investigations, etc.
Conduct compliance-related outreach to SBC customers
Maintain accurate customer profiles and keep diligent notes
Perform background checks and conduct due diligence on business customers and their related parties
Maintain current knowledge of compliance-related issues and regulatory updates
Generate and analyze reports, sales data
Coordinate with state agencies
Collaborate with other departments: BSA, risk management, branch operations, analytics, etc.
Support the SBC Operations and Compliance Manager
Perform other duties as assigned
