Paid Social Specialist
Location: Remote
Salary: $3,200 USD/month
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM ET (U.S. East Coast Hours)
Role Overview:
We are hiring a Paid Social Specialist to support a fast-growing, data-driven marketing agency. This is an execution-focused role for a \"thinker, not just a doer\" who can manage high-budget campaigns while providing strategic storytelling and performance insights. You will work as an integrated member of the media activation team, primarily focusing on Meta Ads, while supporting additional platforms like TikTok and Snapchat.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Execution: Lead the build, launch, and daily management of paid social programs, with a heavy emphasis on Meta (90% of budget).
- Optimization: Manage account pacing and performance through a mix of manual adjustments and platform automation (e.g., Meta Advantage+).
- Insights & Reporting: Go beyond data extraction to add \"color\" and storytelling to weekly performance reports, explaining the why behind the numbers.
- Strategic Collaboration: Actively participate in internal campaign brainstorming and \"war room\" sessions to refine cohesive cross-channel strategies.
- Troubleshooting: Monitor tracking pixels and GA4 events to diagnose issues before performance is impacted.
- Account Management: Simultaneously manage the performance of 3 to 6 individual client accounts.
Tools You Should Know:
- Expertise Required: Meta Ads Manager (Facebook/Instagram).
- Proficiency Required: TikTok Ads Manager and Snapchat Ads Manager.
- Analytics: GA4 and platform-native reporting tools.
- Business Suite: Advanced Microsoft Excel (for data analysis) and PowerPoint (for client-ready decks).
- Collaboration: Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
- Bonus: Familiarity with LinkedIn Ads, Spotify Ads, or Programmatic strategy.

- Proactive Communication: Flagging performance dips and providing immediate recommendations to account leads.
- Technical Mastery: Flawless campaign launches and accurate budget pacing.
- Team Synergy: Receiving high feedback for being \"coachable\" and \"pleasant to work with\" in a lively, outgoing team environment.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience managing paid social in an agency environment.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English skills for internal strategy collaboration.
- Attitude: A high degree of coachability and a desire to contribute ideas rather than just taking orders.
- Setup: Reliable high-speed internet, webcam, headset, and a quiet home office environment.
- Commitment: Willingness to work U.S. East Coast hours long-term.
