Job Description:
Build your pediatric emergency medicine (PEM) career in a highly regarded, community-focused hospital in northern New Jersey. TeamHealth is seeking pediatricians with emergency medicine experience to join the pediatric emergency department at Chilton Medical Center, part of the prestigious Atlantic Health System.
At Chilton Medical Center, you will care for approximately 10,000 pediatric patients annually in a dedicated pediatrics hybrid unit featuring 7 pediatric ED beds and 4 acute-care pediatric beds. This is an excellent opportunity to practice high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive and well-resourced environment.
Opportunity Overview
Board certified/board eligible (ABP/AOBP) pediatricians with EM experience preferred
1099 independent contractor status
Current openings for part-time or PRN
EMR: Epic
7 pediatric ED beds and 4 acute-care peds beds
6 % admission rate
24-hour pediatric EM physician coverage per day
12-hour clinical shift times are 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am
ACLS/PALS required
NJ license required
