Post Production Editor
Traditional post production focus, AI optional
Location: Remote
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM CT
Compensation: $3,000 USD Monthly
About the Role:
This role exists to absorb high volume revisions and keep delivery moving. You will handle client supplied spots, prep them, version them, export them, and quality check everything before it ships.
The work ranges from simple revision requests like swapping a graphic, to heavier post tasks like cleaning up timelines, building ad pods, encoding, and preparing deliverables for client delivery and station delivery.
AI skills are optional. Strong After Effects and Photoshop are not.
What You’ll Do:
• Execute daily revisions across multiple projects
• Review client supplied spots for duration and specs, then prep project files for delivery
• Own encoding, exports, and file delivery workflows
• Build ad pods by pulling masters, stringing multiple spots together, and exporting correctly
• Create multiple deliverable versions and formats including MP4, ProRes, and master exports
• Resize broadcast spots into social aspect ratios 9 X 16, 1 X 1, 4 X 3 and relayout text and graphics with good judgment
• Work primarily in Premiere Pro and After Effects, with Photoshop as a critical support tool
• Learn and operate inside the team’s workflow tools fast and work independently inside existing project files
• Maintain a critical eye for polish, alignment, kerning, cleanliness, and final QA before anything ships
What Success Looks Like:
30 Days
• You can take a request, find the right files, execute revisions, export, and deliver with minimal back and forth
• You are fluent in the team’s workflow and can navigate project organization confidently
90 Days
• You are a reliable throughput engine for revisions, ad pods, and end of month delivery pushes
• You consistently produce clean social versions with strong layout decisions and no quality drift
6 Months
• You reduce bottlenecks meaningfully and help the team spot automation opportunities by improving the process, not just doing the work
Failure in this Role Looks Like:
• Weak After Effects skills or inconsistent Photoshop support skills
• Slow revision turnaround or sloppy exports
• Poor judgment when resizing and relayouting text heavy creative
• Needing constant direction instead of diving into project files and executing
• Missing details that should have been caught in final QA
What We’re Looking For:
Must Have:
• Traditional post production background
• Strong Premiere Pro and After Effects proficiency
• Strong Adobe Suite fluency, After Effects and Photoshop are critical
• Comfortable with high volume revisions, repetitive workflows, and tight timelines
• Strong attention to detail, you care about the final 10 percent polish
• Ability to resize 16 X 9 into multiple social formats and relayout text cleanly
• Comfortable working independently inside existing project structures
Nice to Have:
• Basic AI familiarity for occasional image or graphic support
• Comfort giving input on workflow improvements and automation opportunities
