We are looking for a COBOL Mainframe Developer with experience in financial environments to join a strategic and highly critical banking project, with a hybrid modality (4 days home office + 1 in-person in Parque Patricios).

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain COBOL applications on Mainframe environments.
- Implement and optimize batch and transactional processes.
- Analyze technical requirements and propose efficient solutions.
- Collaborate with QA and functional areas to guarantee the quality of deliverables.
- Provide second/third level support in critical incidents.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and good development practices.

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in COBOL Mainframe development.
- Solid knowledge of JCL, DB2, CICS and batch processes.
- Experience in financial or banking applications.
- SQL management and data validation.
- Work in agile teams and large-scale projects.
- Technical leadership and mentoring capacity.

Desirable:
- Experience in the banking or financial sector.
- Knowledge of version control and continuous integration.
- Intermediate/advanced English.
