ATLANTICA SEGUROS is looking for a PHP Programmer with extensive experience in the development and customization of plugins for WooCommerce. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining and optimizing e-commerce solutions, ensuring smooth, secure operation and an excellent user experience within WordPress/WooCommerce environments.

Key Responsibilities
•\ Development and Customization of Site and Plugins
o\ Design, build and maintain custom plugins for WooCommerce according to business requirements.
o\ Expand and optimize existing WooCommerce functionality.
•\ System Integration
o\ Integrate WooCommerce with third-party systems (e.g. payment gateways, shipping APIs, CRM/ERP).
o\ Ensure compatibility with WordPress updates and other plugins.
•\ Performance and Security
o\ Optimize PHP code and database queries for high-traffic e-commerce sites.
o\ Implement good security practices to protect payments and customer data.
•\ Support and Troubleshooting
o\ Debug, test and resolve issues across different browsers, devices and environments.
o\ Provide technical support and documentation to internal teams.
Skills and Requirements
•\ Technical Skills
o\ Proficiency in PHP, MySQL and JavaScript.
o\ In-depth knowledge of WordPress and WooCommerce architecture.
o\ Experience developing and maintaining WooCommerce plugins (from scratch).
o\ Management of REST APIs, AJAX and webhooks.
o\ Good command of HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design.
Professional Experience
o\ Minimum 3–5 years of PHP programming experience.
