Job Description
The position involves acting as lead programmer on studies of moderate complexity, working directly with project team leaders and client representatives to evaluate and develop project objectives and schedules. The position requires experience in programming, data management and reporting, as well as active participation in training and mentoring team members and in department infrastructure activities.
Responsibilities:
Create, run, maintain, and validate programs that transfer data across multiple data management systems or operating systems, combine data from various sources and structures, and generate and store summary data.
Generate reports or combine multiple databases and validate programs that produce lists, tables and figures using SAS.
Manage and document assignments to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
Increase the knowledge base and professional skills in programming, technology, techniques, clinical trials and the pharmaceutical industry.
Provide training and guidance to junior team members.
Provide general infrastructure support to the department, including representing the company at industry conferences and presenting or teaching at department meetings.
Requirements:
MS/MA degree in computer science, statistics, biostatistics, mathematics or related field, or bachelor's degree in similar or equivalent field, with relevant formal academic or vocational qualification.
At least 5 years of experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the position.
Experience in SAS and visualization is essential.
Understanding of one or more programming languages.
Attention to detail.

Written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with teams and clients, including proficiency in English.
Ability to independently organize and manage multiple tasks with demanding deadlines.
