Job Description

Purpose of the position
Design, implement and maintain technological solutions that optimize the use of Microsoft Dynamics GP in its different modules, ensuring the correct administration of SQL databases and the development of integration processes with internal and external payment systems.

Main responsibilities
•\ Manage and optimize SQL Server databases related to the operation of Dynamics GP.
•\ Configure, maintain and support the different modules of Microsoft Dynamics GP (Finance, Purchasing, Sales, Inventory, Payroll, etc.).
•\ Design and implement integrations between Dynamics GP and payment systems (gateways, banks, ACH, credit/debit cards, etc.).
•\ Develop queries, reports and stored procedures for analysis and decision support.
•\ Monitor and ensure the integrity, security and availability of information.
•\ Document processes, integrations and developments carried out.
•\ Collaborate with finance, accounting and operations teams to address requirements and resolve incidents.
•\ Propose automation and efficiency improvements in transactional processes.

Technical requirements
•\ Proven experience in SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, triggers, database tuning).
•\ Management of Microsoft Dynamics GP in different modules.
•\ Knowledge of payment system integration (protocols, APIs, web services, middleware).
•\ Development experience with .NET / C# and/or Dynamics GP complementary tools.
•\ Knowledge of Windows Server environment administration and database security.
•\ Desirable: experience in SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).

Essential technical knowledge

Microsoft Dynamics GP
•\ User administration, security and roles.
•\ Module configuration and parameterization.
•\ Use of Dexterity (native GP language) for customizations.
•\ Using Modifier with VBA to customize forms.
•\ Integration with eConnect and Integration Manager.
•\ Management of Management Reporter or SmartList Builder for financial reports.
Databases
•\ SQL Server (2008 – 2022): creation and maintenance of GP databases.
•\ Development of stored procedures, triggers, views and functions.
•\ Query optimization to improve performance.
Integrations and Tools
•\ eConnect, Web Services for GP, SmartConnect (desirable).
•\ Knowledge of SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for ETL.
•\ Experience with APIs or web services (REST/SOAP) for integrations.
Development and languages
•\ Advanced T-SQL (essential).
•\ C# / .NET for custom integrations.
•\ Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) in inherited customizations.

Additional skills
•\ Ability to analyze accounting and financial processes, to provide functional support to users.
•\ Skill in technical documentation and user manuals.
•\ Good communication to interact with areas of Finance, Accounting, Purchasing, and Sales.
•\ Ability to work with project methodologies (agile or traditional).

Desirable experiences
•\ Experience with payment processors such as Cardnet, Visanet, Paypal, among others.
•\ Experience in electronic billing integrations with the DGII.
•\ Management of payroll systems.
•\ Experience in corporate environments (insurance, finance, manufacturing or retail) is desirable.

Training
•\ Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computing or related field.
•\ Certifications in SQL Server or Microsoft Dynamics (desirable).

Required experience
•\ 3 to 5 years of experience in SQL database administration.
•\ 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP.
•\ Previous experience in payment system integration projects.
