Job Description
Position Summary
The Project Manager owns a territory of approximately 30 NYC DOE schools, managing each project from initial service request through completion. This role serves as the operational hub between customers, field technicians, procurement, finance, and leadership to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's standards.
Core Responsibilities
Project Coordination
Receive and triage incoming service requests.
Prioritize work orders based on urgency and contractual obligations.
Assign and dispatch field technicians.
Coordinate site surveys and inspections.
Monitor project progress from initiation through closeout.
Manage multiple active projects simultaneously.
Field Operations
Coordinate daily technician schedules.
Track technical productivity and project milestones.
Resolve scheduling conflicts and operational issues.
Escalate critical issues to leadership when necessary.
Customer Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned DOE schools.
Provide regular status updates.
Coordinate scheduling with facility representatives.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Procurement Coordination
Review technical findings.
Coordinate with Procurement to source HVAC and mechanical materials.
Track material orders and delivery schedules.
Ensure materials arrive before scheduled work.
Financial & Administrative
Coordinate with Finance regarding budgets and approvals.
Ensure complete documentation for billing and invoicing.
Track project costs and schedule adherence.
Maintain organized project records.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field (preferred).
3–7+ years of project management experience.
Experience in:Mechanical Construction
HVAC
Facilities Management
Commercial Construction
Industrial Maintenance
Experience with government contracts is a plus.
