At BC Tecnología we are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join a technological project in the banking sector, with a focus on software quality, test automation and data and environment management.
What will be your challenge?
You will be responsible for evaluating, designing and proposing initiatives related to processes, systems and technologies, carrying out surveys and functional/technical analyzes that ensure the quality and operational continuity of IT services.
Additionally, you will assume the role of GDA (Data and Environment Manager), working independently of the cell and managing the availability of environments and the provision of test data.
Main responsibilities
•\ Manage and govern test data and environments.
•\ Design test cases using the Bank's knowledge base.
•\ Propose and manage the approval of test cases for regression and operational continuity.
•\ Identify and propose cases susceptible to automation.
•\ Execute manual and automated functional tests.
•\ Develop scripts for automatic functional and technical tests.
•\ Coordinate and manage the availability of environments required for testing.
•\ Ensure compliance with quality procedures and standards.
Requirements
•\ University training in Execution Engineering, in any of its specialties.
•\ Minimum 4 years of experience in the field of your specialty.
•\ Experience in QA / Functional testing and automation.
•\ Experience in test data management and conditioning.
•\ Knowledge of test environment management.
•\ Management of Jenkins and Git.
•\ Experience developing scripts for test automation.
Desirable
•\ Experience in banking or financial projects.
•\ Knowledge of SQL and database management.
•\ Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or others.
•\ Knowledge of agile methodologies.
