As a functional QA, your contribution will be essential to convert requirements into reliable deliveries, avoiding rework and improving the adoption of the product by users and stakeholders.

Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria to understand the functional scope.
Design test cases (manuals) based on flows, business rules and positive/negative scenarios.
Run tests and verify results against expectations, recording findings accurately.
Document evidence (steps, captures and traceability) to facilitate reprocessing by the team.
Report defects, prioritize them together with the team and follow up until resolution.
Validate regression when changes are made, ensuring that existing functionalities are not affected.
Collaborate with Product, UX and Development to clarify functional doubts and improve test coverage.
Support the continuous improvement of the QA process, suggesting adjustments in the way quality is documented, measured and communicated.

We are looking for a
Functional QA
to collaborate in the validation of functionalities and ensure quality from a business perspective. At Coderslab.io we work with teams that demand quality, communication and focus on delivery. Your role will be key to translate requirements into effective tests and to detect problems before reaching production.
Requirements and experience:
Experience doing
functional tests
(ideally in web products or applications).
Knowledge of
test cases
, user flows, acceptance criteria and validation of business rules.
Ability to write and execute tests with attention to detail.
Ability to record incidents clearly: steps to reproduce, expected/obtained result and evidence.
Basic knowledge of work methodologies in agile teams (Scrum or similar) and iteration management.

Knowledge of case/incident management tools (for example Jira or others) and practice in the bug life cycle.
Experience with regression testing and criteria for prioritizing coverage based on risk/impact.
Basic knowledge of SQL or data reading (to validate information in tests), without this being an exclusive requirement.
Experience in validating flows with roles/permissions, form validations and state management (loading, error, empty, etc.).
Ability to quickly understand the functional domain of the product and propose improvements to the acceptance specification.
