This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, high-quality corporate tax preparation, and technical oversight of junior accounting staff. The ideal candidate combines strong US GAAP knowledge, hands-on QuickBooks Online expertise, and experience working with US-based companies or tax firms.\n\nResponsibilities:\nCorporate Accounting\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in QuickBooks Online.\nPerform and review monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.\nPrepare and review financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).\nEnsure proper classification of transactions and chart of accounts structure.\nOversee payroll accounting and ensure correct recording.\nIdentify discrepancies, accounting risks, and recommend corrective actions.\nManage multiple US entities simultaneously.\nUS Corporate Tax\nPrepare and/or review US corporate tax returns (Forms 1120, 1120-S, 1065).\nEnsure consistency between accounting records and tax filings.\nCoordinate accounting adjustments prior to tax filings.\nIdentify potential tax risks and improvement opportunities.\nSupport corporate tax planning initiatives.\nQuality Control & Supervision\nReview and supervise work performed by junior accountants.\nEnsure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with US regulations.\nProvide technical guidance and ensure quality standards.\nSupport process standardization and financial documentation organization.\nPropose improvements to internal controls and automation initiatives.\nContribute to improving monthly and annual closing timelines\nQualifications:\nBachelors degree in Accounting (CPA or equivalent preferred).\n4+ years of accounting experience.\nStrong experience with US-based companies or US tax firms.\nAdvanced QuickBooks Online proficiency (required).\nProven experience preparing or reviewing US corporate tax returns.\nSolid understanding of US GAAP and federal/state tax regulations.\nExperience supervising or reviewing junior staff is highly preferred.\nAdvanced English (professional written and verbal communication).\nExperience with TaxDome or similar accounting CRMs is a plus.\nStrong analytical skills and attention to detail.\nStrong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.\n\nWork Setup Requirements:\nTo perform this role effectively, you must have:\nA quiet home office space to work optimally.\nA stable internet connection (minimum 100 MB).\nA laptop/desktop with updated software.\nA secondary backup internet option to ensure reliability.",
