Job Description:
A federal client of Insight Global is looking for a mid-level ReactJs/NodeJs Full-Stack Developer. The Software Engineer will collaborate with a dynamic Agile Scrum team, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives to deliver high-quality solutions. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable, responsive web applications using React and TypeScript, while partnering closely with designers and stakeholders to implement intuitive, user-centered interfaces.
The engineer will troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, contribute to CI/CD pipelines to support reliable code integration and deployment, and thrive in a fast paced, fully remote environment that values innovation, adaptability, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of software development experience, strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, familiarity with modern build tools and CI/CD practices, excellent communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset.
Compensation: $35/hr. -- 41/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience building RESTful APIs or backend services and a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience developing and maintaining React-based web applications
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS*, Azure, or GCP
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Prior experience working in a fully remote environment
Prior experience supporting a federal or healthcare client
Ability to work effectively in a remote, team-oriented environment
Adaptability and willingness to shift priorities as needed
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
