At ADN – Human Resources we are looking for a DB2 / Remote Database Administrator for an Important Company.



Requirements:

-Have at least three years of experience anticipating problems.

-Training in Systems, Engineering or related careers (desirable).

-Proactive profile focused on continuous improvement.

-Ability to anticipate and preventive thinking.

-Technical criteria for decision making in critical environments.

-Clear communication and collaborative work with infrastructure and development.

Exclusive knowledge:

-Proven senior experience in DB2 for i administration (AS/400, IBM i).

-Experience in highly critical productive environments.

-Advanced command of SQL (native and embedded) and CL commands.

-Solid knowledge in: ? Execution plans? Indexing strategies? Journaling? Backup & Recovery

-Security and access control? Replication/HA

-Experience in preventive performance analysis and operational risk management.

Tasks to develop:

-Advanced administration of DB2 for i databases in development, testing and production environments.

-Comprehensive management of backups, restorations and periodic recovery tests.

-Performance analysis and optimization (SQL tuning, analysis of execution plans, indexing).

-Proactive monitoring and early risk detection.

-Implementation and improvement of security and access control policies.

-Management of journaling, replication and high availability mechanisms.

-Specialized technical support to development teams in data modeling and optimization.

-Active participation in critical incident management and root cause analysis.

-Technical documentation and continuous improvement of operating standards.

Hours: Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.",
