Position: Referral Coordinator\n Hours: 11:00 AM 8:00 PM, until time change DST\n Mode: 100% Remote\n\n Job Description\nWe are seeking an experienced Referral Coordinator to support a high volume Internal Medicine practice in the Stockton area. This position requires an organized, reliable professional with an excellent patient service attitude.\nThe Referral Coordinator will be responsible for managing all requests for medical referrals and authorizations, ensuring an efficient, accurate and patient-oriented flow.\nMain Responsibilities\nCoordinate and process requests for referrals and medical authorizations.\nMaintain clear and professional communication with patients, physicians and clinical staff.\nUse medical terminology, CPT and ICD10 codes, and tools related references.\nPerform data entry, EMR management (preferably Epic) and detailed documentation.\nEnsure organization, accuracy and follow-up of each case.\nMaintain a professional, clean and safe work environment.\nCollaborate closely with the clinical team under physician supervision.\nIdeal Profile Requirements\n23 years of experience as a Referral Coordinator or Referral Specialist (preferred).\nExperience in authorizations: minimum requirement 1 year.\nSolid knowledge of CPT and ICD10 (required).\nExperience with Epic EMR (preferred).\nAdvanced English (B2+,C1)",
