Are you passionate about building robust data architectures and scaling efficient pipelines in the cloud? We are looking for a Data Engineer to work closely with our Architects to build high-quality data pipelines supporting research, operational divisions, and public web applications.\nThis role is key to supporting current and future reporting and analytic solutions, requiring a deep understanding of data architecture, engineering, and reporting.\n The Challenge\nArchitect & Design: Build robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and cloud-native tools.\nModern Modeling: Champion the implementation of Medallion Architecture and complex data schemas to support analytical and operational workloads.\nOptimization: Proactively identify and remediate bottlenecks in SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and cloud services.\nInfrastructure & CI/CD: Drive improvements in data platform monitoring, cost optimization, and failover strategies.\nTechnical SME: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for data platforms, ensuring architectural consistency and data security across all services.\n What We Are Looking For\nEducation: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.\nExperience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or data platform development with production-grade solutions.\nExpertise: Demonstrated mastery of Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.\nCoding: Proficiency in Python and/or Scala with a focus on building maintainable and testable solutions.\nFoundations: Deep understanding of data warehousing principles, dimensional modeling, and scalable ETL/ELT development.\nPluses: Certifications in Azure or other cloud services; familiarity with Machine Learning methodologies.\n Key Skills\nProven ability to lead teams and deliver quality data solutions.\nStrong communication and collaboration abilities to translate business goals into technical solutions.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and sharp attention to detail.",
