Job Description
Respond to customer inquiries for quotes, product selection, specifications, order placement and other related queries. Develop quotes for orders following prescribed procedures. Qualify potential clients. Provide necessary follow-up and initiate correspondence. Access, update and maintain the client's computer database
Use price lists to determine pricing contracts or obtain special approval for non-standard pricing. Submit official quote within the established deadlines. Perform appropriate follow-up activities, such as sending samples, as necessary to secure the order.
Interact with all departments as necessary to resolve issues with customer orders. Notify customers of deviations or problems with orders.
\ Follow up on all customer complaints, including returns, short shipments, and order adjustments. Take appropriate follow-up actions to close requests. Maintain filing systems, supporting information and all required documentation, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for easy retrieval.
The position requires excellent interpersonal skills, understanding of customer needs, and significant knowledge of the company's products and specifications. Hand-eye coordination and concentrated mental/visual demand are required in the use of computers and the application of related software.",
