Supplier Assurance Officer LATAM

Adecco Chile is looking for a Supplier Assurance Officer for an international company in the frozen food sector. The position will be part of the global Supplier Assurance team and will work remotely, with frequent trips within Latin America (Chile, Peru, Ecuador and other countries), according to company guidelines.

Main functions
Lead food safety audits of suppliers of frozen fruits, vegetables and herbs.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety and sustainability standards under GFSI regulations.
Manage corrective actions and follow up on critical complaints.
Support the development and evaluation of new suppliers and products, in coordination with purchasing and sales.
Evaluate and classify the performance of suppliers and participate in strategic instances with the procurement area.
Participate in supplier selection and onboarding processes.
Develop and maintain supplier assurance procedures globally.

Requirements
Degree in Food Engineering, Food Process Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Agriculture or similar career.
Proven experience in the food industry and in audits.
Knowledge of GFSI standards and primary production, such as GlobalGAP or others.
Advanced and fluent level of English, exclusive.
Availability to travel regularly within the LATAM region.
