In the role, you will take responsibility for the data analytics suite on the platform. The role has a key role in data implementation and analysis, driving growth strategies and ensuring data integrity. This is an individual position without personnel management.
Responsibilities:
Foster a data-centric culture by driving the team to ask better questions and make informed decisions and build with confidence.
Coordinate with product teams to improve data literacy and address analytical needs ensuring access to information for product innovation.
Ensure data accuracy and reliability through implementation and monitoring.
Implement and improve analytics touchpoints on the website including tracking and tagging implementations in Google Tag Manager.
Build and maintain data streams to collect and analyze website metrics and user interaction.
Maintain and develop self-service reporting tools to enable independent access to data by product design and engineering teams.
Perform ad hoc analysis to identify growth opportunities and support strategic decisions.
Collaborate with marketing and product data teams to reduce the gap between marketing strategy and technical execution.
Accompany and train the team to carry out rapid experiments based on data, allowing testing, learning and scaling of growth initiatives through the infrastructure and tools necessary for data-driven expansion.
Train engineers in data monitoring practices on the platform.
Requirements:
Python proficiency.
Advanced knowledge of SQL with the ability to write queries and optimize database performance.
Experience with Google Cloud and BigQuery is an advantage.
Knowledge of Redash PostHog and Amplitude valued.
Experience in implementing data flows and data analysis.
Ability to transform data into information for business growth.
Experience in analytical engineering and growth engineering in implementation and optimization of analytics for web platforms and websites.
Javascript proficiency.
