We are looking for someone who has had several years of experience in sales roles primarily selling to North America or English speaking countries globally.

Compensation: For transparency, the based salary range for this mid-level role is $3,000,000 COP to $4,500,000 COP per month for supporting our two businesses. There is also a sales commission structure for quarterly or monthly sales from 3% to 7.5% of the total sales in US Dollars value. The more you sell, the more you will earn. The final offer will be based on your specific experience and alignment with the role

Our teams at our Learning Tech startups are growing, and we are looking for a highly driven commercial front to join our remote team. We are a global hub of e-learning experts, developers, and consultants specializing in platforms like Moodle, and LearnWorlds and online interactive course creation.

As a US-based learning tech consulting business out of New Jersey, we service clients worldwide, and we need a talented and US culture familiar sales professional to help us expand our reach!

About the Role:
As a Sales Consultant & Account Manager, you will be a crucial part of our team, responsible for driving revenue growth by securing new clients in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia, and managing opportunities for upsells, cross-selling, and ongoing relationships with existing ones.

You will be the face of our companies, representing our expertise in LMS, instructional design, AI tools for e-learning, and integrations for learning tech, and general learning technology consulting services.

Here is a closer look at what you will be doing:

Business Development
1. Identify, generate new leads, and qualify potential clients, individuals, small businesses, mid-size and large corporations. Clients could be found in the education, corporate, and government sectors.
2. Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new business through UpWork, direct referrals from partners, LinkedIn, and more.
3. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and keep our CRM up to date.
4. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.

Client Relationship Management
1. Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
2. Respond to client inquiries and provide timely solutions, estimates, and meeting opportunities to generate new business.
3. Manage client accounts and ensure timely contract renewals and invoicing, and keep our CRM updated.

Sales Operations
1. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentation decks, materials, and proposals.
2. Negotiate contracts and close deals.
3. Track sales activities and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
4. Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, project management, technology, design, and leadership) to ensure seamless client onboarding and project delivery.
5. Support lead generation campaigns and initiatives
6. Collaborate with internal marketing efforts.
7. Create graphic resources, documents and information needed to support your success in selling our services.
8. Establish or improve existing sales processes.
9. Make outbound calls to potential or existing clients, send emails and follow up. Also receive and timely address inbound requests.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive contractor service agreement (initially a 3-month trial period) based on a minimum average 40 hours per week. Hours are tracked via one of our time tracking tools (Clockify).

Base Starting Salary (First 3 months): $ To be determined based on experience, and interview process.

Contract Renewal (Second 3 months): $$ Evaluated increase based on the outcome of the first 3 months.

Contract Renewal (6 months+): $$$ Additional increment based on results from the first 6 months.

Payments will be made in USD based on the COP contract value to a Colombian account.

Quarterly or Monthly Commission Structure will be discussed during the contracting stages.
