1. Test Strategy and Design
Advanced planning: Defines error prevention methods, testability strategies and automation plans based on network and application architecture.
Requirements Analysis: Review acceptance criteria to ensure full test coverage and collaborate with product leaders to thoroughly understand functionality.
2. Automation and CI/CD
Framework Development: Create and maintain automation frameworks to run test suites per project.
Continuous Integration: Helps integrate automated scripts into CI (Continuous Integration) environments to speed up deliveries.
3. Execution and Quality Management
Specialized Testing: Execute functional, non-functional, performance and resilience tests to ensure compliance with SLA/SLO (service levels).
Defect Management: Detect, analyze and document errors in tools such as JIRA and Zephyr, accurately assigning severity and priority.
4. Documentation and Collaboration
Standardization: Organizes your work under established processes and validates that quality standards are met.
Communication: Generate detailed status reports and collaborate on code reviews (peer reviews) with other engineers to improve product quality.

Bachelor's degree in a major in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) or equivalent experience. Between 2 and 5 years of experience in software testing. Ability to create automated tests based on functional and non-functional requirements. Proactive person who identifies or acts on priority shifts with minimal supervision. Software build management tools like Maven or Gradle. Software testing tools like Cucumber or Selenium. Software testing, performance, as well as quality engineering techniques and strategies. Testing technologies: JIRA, Confluence, Office products. Cloud technology: GCP, AWS or Azure.

Cloud certification highly preferred.
