Functions of the position
What will you do in your day to day life?
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Migration QA:
Participate in the execution of tests for data migration from on-premise databases (MySQL/Oracle) to BigQuery/GCP.
Multilevel Validation:
Execute and develop test cases that validate three critical levels:
Raw data integrity (Source vs. Target).
Correct application of ELT transformation logic.
Compliance with the business rules defined in the new architecture.
QA of Analytical Processes:
Collaborate in the validation of results of post-loading processes, such as the calculation of scores and segmentations, ensuring the consistency of the data with the expected business results.
Test Automation:
Evolve from manual validations to automation. Develop Python scripts to automate data comparisons and learn to create/maintain DAGs in Apache Airflow for data quality validation pipelines.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Use Looker Studio to create and maintain data quality control dashboards that visualize discrepancies, data health metrics, and migration progress for stakeholders.

Position requirements
Skills
Cloud: Airflow, Cloud Composer, Glue, Lambda or others.
Programming Languages (at least handle one intermediate user level):
Python
SQL/BigQuery
Experience in analysis and analytics.
Looker Studio / PowerBI / Tableau / others.
Knowledge of data management: **Important**
Knowledge of data environment concepts.
Knowledge of data quality concepts.
Knowledge of process modeling and data flows
Indefinite contract from the beginning with 23people - Project time 6 months with possible extension
Modality:
Home Office with residence in Chile.
Experience: From 2 years onwards
Hours: Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Desirable
Knowledge of technologies: Spark - DataProc / DataFlow
