Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure AWS infrastructure in Windows-centric production environments.
Own reliability and performance, including overnight shifts, ensuring operational continuity and rapid issue resolution.
Configure and manage Auto Scaling groups, EC2 instances, RDS databases, CloudFront distributions, and FSx file systems.
Automate provisioning and updates using Terraform; implement infrastructure as code and continuous improvement practices.
Monitor systems with metrics, alerts, and dashboards; optimize based on operational data and incident learnings.
Document configurations, processes, and operational policies; collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate complex states clearly.
Provide deep technical mentorship and contribute to architectural decisions that scale with business needs.

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AWS Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and operation of production-grade cloud infrastructure. This role emphasizes Windows-based environments, stability, proactive monitoring, and clear cross-team communication. The ideal candidate will have a long track record (12+ years) in systems or cloud engineering, with 10+ years specifically in AWS, and a focus on high-scale, reliable production systems. You will drive architectural decisions, implement best practices for security and reliability, and translate complex technical concepts into actionable guidance for distributed teams.

Desirable Experience
Desirable candidates will hold an AWS Solutions Architect certification or equivalent, have deep expertise with Auto Scaling, EC2, RDS, CloudFront, and FSx, and possess extensive Windows server experience. Strong English communication skills for international coordination are essential. Familiarity with Windows-centric tooling, networking, IAM, monitoring, and incident response will be a plus. Prior experience in enterprise data projects and working in a fast-paced, remote-first company is highly valued.
