What You’ll Be Doing
Steer technical direction to enhance platform performance and scalability, designing scalable cloud architectures, optimizing Azure resources for performance and cost-efficiency, and streamlining deployment of the white-label solution.
Architect and maintain robust backend systems using Python and Go (Golang). Write and optimize complex SQL queries, implement and integrate APIs, and ensure high performance and responsiveness across applications.
Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into maintainable, testable, and scalable software solutions; drive feature discovery and prioritization based on customer feedback and market needs.
Code reviews, set coding standards, implement testing strategies, and advocate for best practices in software architecture and DevOps.
Guide the team in adopting modern development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native approaches to deliver reliable and secure software.
Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the platform, identifying opportunities for innovation and optimization, and mentoring engineers to grow technically and professionally.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience & Background
: 7+ years of software development experience with a track record in senior leadership or lead roles. Proven ability to mentor developers and manage teams to deliver complex projects on-time and with high quality.
Technical Proficiency
: Strong expertise in Python and Golang, with hands-on experience in Django. Deep knowledge of SQL databases, performance tuning, and query optimization. Extensive experience with API design and integration, cloud architectures, and scalable backend systems. Proficiency with Azure cloud services is required. A solid understanding of software development principles, security, testing, and modern DevOps practices.
Soft Skills
: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach. Ability to lead through influence, balance competing priorities, and drive results in a dynamic startup environment.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience in building white-label SaaS products and knowledge of cost-aware cloud optimization strategies.
Experience with internationalization and localization, working in a multilingual product environment.
Familiarity with data analytics to drive product decisions and user outcomes.
