OVERVIEW

As an Engineer II
Backend and data engineering role on federal healthcare systems.
These are the types of things you will be working on
- TDD backend systems and UIs
- Contribute to APIs, specifications, and data models
- Design, implement, and maintain data interactions
- Optimize data operations for performance and scalability
- Ensure data integrity and security
- Design and develop UIs from UX designs
- Contribute to automated testing suites
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in CS, CE, or related field
- Strong Python and Apache Spark
- Data modeling, ETL, orchestration, distributed computing
- Software design patterns, data structures, algorithms
- Agile
- Independent and team work; problem-solving; communication
- Analytic programming, data extraction, querying
- CI/CD pipelines
Preferred qualifications
- AWS (S3, EC2, Glue, Lambda)
- R
- Databricks or Spark certifications
- SAS
Security clearance requirements
- US Citizenship or Green Card only; no sponsorship
- US residency at least the past 3 years
- Must meet Public Trust position requirements including US Government background investigation
