Job Description:
As a Sr. Integrity and Compliance Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company adheres to legal and ethical standards, fostering a culture of integrity and compliance across all business operations. You will help identify risks, implement compliance programs, and support Honeywell's commitment to ethical business practices worldwide.
You will work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact Honeywell's ability to maintain regulatory compliance, mitigate risks related to integrity and ethics, and support the company's reputation as a responsible and trusted global enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Standardizing and automating compliance sustainment assessments across countries, businesses, and legal entities
Performing transaction testing and business data analysis
Developing and maintaining a comprehensive mapping of compliance risks and existing control measures to be tested under the program
Attaining and applying knowledge of business systems and control systems that house relevant data related to compliance activities
Designing, updating, and implementing testing methods to measure the effectiveness of compliance controls
Designing, updating, and communicating a risk assessment framework to illustrate the nature and severity of vulnerabilities, consistent with firmwide enterprise risk management frameworks
Actively participating in developing and implementing sustainable corrective actions arising from compliance assurance evaluations, as well as other investigations and audits
Developing metrics, key performance indicators, and key risk indicators based on the compliance assessments
Proactively identifying, evaluating, and managing export risks in a way that enables Honeywell to deliver sustainable business growth
Supporting the development of policies, procedures, and training materials

THE BUSINESS UNIT
Honeywell's Trade Compliance team ensures compliance with international trade regulations and manages the import and export activities of the company. We work closely with various functional teams, such as Legal, Finance, and Supply Chain, to ensure smooth and compliant cross-border transactions. YOU MUST HAVE
5+ years of compliance, risk assessment, or internal audit experience at a multinational company, U.S. defense contractor, or within the U.S. government focus on compliance assurance, compliance monitoring, or program testing
Basic knowledge in regulatory areas of export, import, trade sanctions, anti-corruption, or government contracts
Experience in compliance testing and monitoring
Experience evolving internal auditing programs
Experience with MS Office, Tableau, Power BI, or other digital reporting tools
Experience with data analytics, metrics reporting, key performance indicators, key risk indicators
Due to U.S. export control laws, must be a U.S. Person

Bachelor's Degree
Ability and interest in growing a sustainable, best-in-class compliance assurance program
Aptitude for compliance
Ability to interpret and understand the impact of regulatory changes
Ability to work independently once tasks are assigned and to drive key initiatives
Excellent skills in problem-solving
Strong writing skills; experience in drafting reports, presentations
Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems, including GTS compliance modules
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Proactive, well-organized, highly motivated
