Tuition Reimbursement
Base salary within the range will be determined by the applicant's skills and experience. The role is also eligible for team-based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not eligible to receive benefits, but may participate in the company's 401(k) program.

Responsibilities
Creates a connection with families and helps them care for their aging loved ones by connecting them with one or more of Brookdale's nearly 700 communities nationwide and recommending that they take the next step to come and see how we enrich the lives of those we serve with compassion, respect, excellence and integrity.
Helps families seeking help with senior housing or other in-home assistance.
Identify Brookdale communities or other resources that best fit a family's needs.
Persuade people to take action by visiting Brookdale communities and learning about available options that will improve their quality of life and schedule appointments for families to visit one or more Brookdale communities.
Updates databases with customer/prospect status and changes, ensuring data quality meets all compliance requirements. Nurture potential customers who are not yet ready to be forwarded to a particular community by providing them with information related to the customer's expressed interest or need and with scheduled follow-up conversations to advance them in choosing a community to visit as quickly as possible.
Supports Brookdale communities through outbound calls and emails with the goal of updating prospect status and information within the database and scheduling appropriate follow-up activities within the database for the community sales associate, with emphasis on scheduling an appointment for the prospect to visit the community.
Works closely with community sales and operations associates as an extension of your sales team.
Actively participates with supervisors and other team members in interactive training and coaching processes and cultural development activities throughout the department.

Education and experience
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S) from a four-year college or university is preferred. Two years of experience in sales, pre-sales, inside sales or appointment setting preferred. Related experience in healthcare or call centers is also preferred.

Ability to effectively manage time, tasks and projects in a dynamic environment is required. Ability to present oneself and Brookdale as an organization ready to meet the needs of seniors to maximize their quality of life by providing them with the highest quality of care and services. Ability to generate trust and act honestly in relationships with others. Ability to evaluate and understand customer expectations, needs and circumstances. The ability to listen and communicate effectively verbally and in writing is essential. Must be a self-starter who excels in organizational and time management skills and can work without close supervision.
