This includes critical pieces of technology such as Package Level Network Orchestration and related networklevel decision systems. You build, and iterate on features across network planning, transportation execution, capacity planning, and realtime monitoring. This role will partner closely with various cross-functional teams to drive high-impact architectural solutions and hands-on development, including inception, design, execution, and delivery following good design and coding practices.\n\nResponsibilities\nArchitecting, building, testing, and deploying applications that support our transportation network\nModifying designs and specifications of complex applications\nCollaborating and adding value through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions\nLeverage AWS and other cloud technologies to design and implement systems in a serverless and event driven environment\nWorking with technical and non-technical end-users, other engineers, and product managers in a cross functional, quick moving, and collaborative environment\nAnalyzing code, requirements, system risks, and software reliability and providing recommendations on how to leverage our technology more efficiently\nWorking with Product and Design to confirm requirements, prioritization, and development of new features\n\nWhat You Bring:\nAbility to adapt to changing requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.\n4+ years of experience building, testing and deploying applications in high traffic production environments\n4+ years of experience developing software with Javascript, Node.js and React\nEnjoys taking initiative, is a self-starter, willing to move fast and ship quick, and is excited about collaborating on big challenges\nEnthusiastic about working closely with product and operations team members to develop creative solutions problems particularly within the supply chain domain.\nTech Stack: AWS, Typescript, Node.js, React, GraphQL\nBachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience\nSolid software development background including serverless patterns, data structures, test driven development\nExcellent communication skills to convey complex technical information effectively to internal and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in transportation, logistics or network orchestration systems is highly desirable\nExperience working in a remote first environment.\nProficiency with AWS, GCP, or similar cloud platforms.\nStrong skills in React and Node.js for end-to-end development.\n\nImportant Note:\nThis opportunity is based in Bogotá, Colombia and offers the chance to partner with Veho as we expand globally. This engagement will begin under a contractor arrangement.
