At VGS we are looking to incorporate a new colleague as a PHP Developer to the development team, with the desire to create top-level technological products, provide efficient technical solutions and, above all, pursuing the quality and results of the final product.

The ideal candidate must have a high capacity for autonomy and task resolution, with a strategic vision aimed at offering the best possible solution for each case, achieving a positive impact on our clients' projects.

The position has a strong results orientation in which compliance with established deadlines is essential for the correct execution of projects.

Responsibilities

· Create and maintain projects in Prestashop and WordPress, including custom functionalities and modules.
· Implement front-end layouts with HTML and CSS using Bootstrap or TailwindCSS, guaranteeing their accessibility and correct visualization on any device (responsive design).
· Implementation and customization of functionalities in projects developed with PHP.
· Integration of third-party services and APIs.
· Guarantee precision, attention to detail and consistency in the execution of each task.
· Optimize project performance and resolve technical incidents when necessary.
· Guarantee clean, scalable and efficient code.
· Autonomous and responsible work. Full remote position.

Profile requirements

· Minimum recent experience of 3 years working with the Prestashop and WordPress stack in custom developments is essential. Without Elementor.
· Solid knowledge of PHP and ability to work on both front-end and back-end.
· Mastery of HTML and CSS with experience in Bootstrap or TailwindCSS.
· Advanced knowledge in creating and managing relational databases such as MySQL.
· Attention to detail and precision in the execution of work.
· Experience in collaborative teams and agile methodologies.
· Development based on version control.
· Mastery of any of the following technologies is highly valued: Laravel, Symfony, NextJS or AstroJS.
