Key Responsibilities
•\ Lead the administration, optimization, and governance of enterprise firewall platforms, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with corporate security standards.
•\ Serve as the regional technical owner for Network Security Operations across the North America (U.S.) business, providing operational leadership during regional business hours.
•\ Architect, deploy, and maintain secure network infrastructure solutions that align with the organization's global connectivity strategy.
•\ Develop, review, and optimize firewall rules, VPN configurations, network segmentation, and security policies to support evolving business and security requirements.
•\ Continuously monitor the health, performance, and availability of network security services while proactively identifying vulnerabilities, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
•\ Partner with Global Security Operations teams to support cybersecurity initiatives, investigate security incidents, and implement effective threat mitigation strategies while maintaining clearly defined operational responsibilities.
•\ Provide technical guidance and security expertise for enterprise infrastructure projects, ensuring secure network designs are incorporated throughout project lifecycles.
•\ Act as the highest level of technical escalation for complex firewall, routing, and network security incidents.
•\ Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, operational standards, configuration guidelines, and support procedures.
•\ Participate in scheduled on-call rotations to ensure uninterrupted support for critical network security services.
