Job Description

InTune Analytics (ITA) is a live entertainment technology company operating as a market maker in the secondary ticket market. We are a small, high-conviction team building proprietary technology to shape the future of live entertainment, with a 10-year goal of impacting 50 million lives by 2035. We don't have a traditional customer base and we don't advertise. Our reputation is built on the quality of our people, the strength of our partnerships, and our relentless drive to execute.
We are looking for a Staff Engineer who brings technical excellence and genuine care for the people and systems around them. Someone who leads by example — writing great code, making thoughtful architectural decisions, and raising the bar for everyone on the team simply by being present. You will have a meaningful voice in how we build, what we prioritize technically, and how we grow as a team. This is a role for someone who loves the craft and wants to share that love with others.

Our values are not words on a wall — they are how we make decisions, give feedback, and hold each other accountable. At Staff level, you are expected to model them.
Keep Exploring. You stay curious. You follow new ideas, test new tools, and bring the team along when you find something worth sharing.
Will to Win. You set ambitious goals and see them through. You bring energy and drive, and you help the people around you do the same.
Radical Candor. You communicate directly and with care. You give honest feedback, welcome it in return, and leave ego at the door.
Be a Dynasty. You invest in the long game — in the team, the codebase, and the culture. You take pride in outcomes that outlast your individual contribution.
Extreme Ownership. You own results, not just tasks. When something falls short, you lead the fix. When you see a way to improve things, you propose it.

Be a technical role model
Engage deeply with the existing systems from the start — understanding how they work, appreciating what they do well, and identifying where they can grow.
Shape how we build
Drive engineering standards and best practices by living them in your own work and helping the team adopt them naturally.
Identify opportunities to simplify: where complexity has crept in, help the team find the cleaner path forward.
Own quality and reliability
Champion a testing-first mindset: write tests before code, share frameworks and methodologies with the team, and uphold quality in code review.
Lead post-mortems after incidents in a blameless, constructive way — and follow through to make sure lessons actually change how we work.
Multiply the team
Mentor and coach engineers through technical growth — pairing on hard problems, giving honest feedback, and helping people become more confident in their decisions.
Distribute ownership deliberately so the team can operate at its best — your goal is to grow their capability, not centralize decisions around yourself.
Guide through complexity
Act as a bridge between technical decisions and team goals, ensuring what we build is aligned with where we’re going.

8+ years of software development experience, with a track record of delivering high-quality systems at scale.
Hands-on experience with backend systems and comfort working across the stack — you’re not precious about context-switching.
Real experience shaping and implementing architecture in cloud environments (AWS preferred), including cost and performance tradeoffs.
A history of proposing and driving technical improvements, not just implementing others’ decisions.
A genuine testing culture mindset — you have built teams that care about quality, promoted test-first practices, and raised the bar in code review.
Ownership over production systems: incident response, post-mortems, SLA accountability, and the follow-through that makes them meaningful.
Strong communication in English, with the ability to translate technical complexity for engineers and non-engineers alike.
Comfort navigating and contributing to large, existing codebases from the start.

Beyond the hard requirements, the person who thrives in this role:
Gets genuinely excited about improving things — not because they’re broken, but because there’s always a better version worth building toward.
Has a strong technical point of view and holds it with humility — they argue for what they believe and update their position when shown a better one.
Thinks in systems: how does this decision affect the team’s speed, quality, and confidence six months from now?
Has thrived in fast-moving, high-ownership environments where initiative is rewarded and ambiguity is normal.
Finds mentoring genuinely rewarding and can point to engineers whose careers they’ve helped shape.
Brings a sense of warmth and humor to the team — someone people want to work with and learn from.
