Job Description

Responsibilities
Demand Forecasting and Planning
Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts using statistical methods, historical data, and market trends. Analyze demand patterns, identify seasonality, and anticipate potential disruptions. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to understand market dynamics and gather relevant data.
Inventory Management
Optimize inventory levels across the supply chain to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. Implement and monitor key performance indicators such as inventory turnover, fill rates, and service levels. Manage inventory adjustments, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
Supply Planning
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials. Monitor supplier performance and address potential supply chain disruptions. Manage purchase orders, track shipments, and resolve logistical issues.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Utilize data analysis techniques such as SQL and Power BI to identify trends, generate reports, and provide insights to management. Develop and maintain accurate records in the company’s ERP system, preferably Microsoft Dynamics. Prepare presentations and reports summarizing key findings and recommendations.
Process Improvement
Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness. Participate in cross-functional projects to streamline supply chain operations.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Experience
Three to five years of relevant experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or inventory management.
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and macros. Strong experience with ERP or MRP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, preferably Power BI. Experience with database management using SQL and with reporting systems such as Power BI or Tableau. Experience with linear programming, statistical forecasting, and inventory optimization is an advantage.
Language Skills
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential for daily communication.
