BUILD THE HR FUNCTION FROM THE GROUND UP
We are a group of 5 innovative startups operating across AI Software Development, IT Consultancy, Software Sales & Marketing, Restaurant, and Dental/Healthcare - with teams across Colombia, USA, and LATAM.
We are looking for an exceptional HR Business Partner to create and lead our People function as a centralized shared service - a true builder's role with direct impact across all five companies.
100% Remote | Preferred location: Colombia | Bilingual: Spanish & English
YOUR MISSION
Design and lead a world-class, AI-augmented HR shared service that attracts top talent, empowers our people, and enables each company to scale with confidence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus)
- Design international recruitment strategies (USA & LATAM) using AI-powered tools
- Lead bilingual interviews for technical and administrative profiles
- Build and manage multi-industry talent pipelines
- Optimize candidate experience with agile, human-centric processes
- Define and track KPIs: time-to-hire, quality of hire, offer acceptance rate
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Own full employee lifecycle across 5 companies (onboarding - offboarding)
- Coordinate payroll and ensure compliance with labor law (Colombia, USA, LATAM)
- Develop HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
- Monitor occupational health & safety compliance
Culture, Wellness & People Experience
- Champion a cohesive group culture across diverse industries and geographies
- Design wellness and engagement programs for distributed, remote-first teams
- Serve as trusted advisor for employee relations and conflict resolution
Performance Management & Development
- Design and roll out performance review frameworks across all entities
- Build career plans, growth roadmaps, and KPI libraries with leadership
- Identify high-potential talent and support succession planning
HR Technology & AI Innovation
- Select and implement ATS, HRIS, and performance management platforms
- Use AI tools and dashboards to deliver workforce insights to leadership
- Automate routine HR tasks and stay current with global HR tech trends
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 4 - 6+ years of progressive HR / HRBP experience
- Proven bilingual recruitment track record (technical & admin profiles)
- Experience building HR processes from scratch (startup/scale-up a big plus)
- Knowledge of Colombian and/or US labor legislation
- Proficiency with ATS, HRIS, and AI-powered sourcing tools
- Entrepreneurial mindset — you build, not just manage
- Full professional proficiency in Spanish AND English
