Genuine School is a K-12 online school founded as a startup, with over 500 students from Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Brazil, and Mexico. Our mission is to provide high-quality bilingual education that is accessible from anywhere in the world, transforming the lives of thousands of students and shaping the future of Latin America.

You're our perfect candidate IF:
You have a degree in software engineering, computer science, or related.

1+ years of teaching experience.

You are fluent in English (C1)

You believe in alternative teaching methods, and you are open to learn new ones.

You are familiar with working in different online platforms with bigger groups, like Teams and Zoom.

You have a very dynamic personality, dynamic enough to shine through the screen

Actively seek areas of improvement and find effective ways to solve/fix current issues.

Are punctual, organized, and professional in all aspects of the role.
Responsibilities:
Teach english to students in an engaging, interactive, and bilingual environment.

Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the curriculum, ensuring student progress through assessments and feedback.

Maintain academic records, update lesson plans, and use Microsoft Teams for documentation and communication.

Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school meetings, projects, and professional development activities.

Engage with families and students, attending parent-teacher meetings when required.
We’re looking for educators who have experience or are excited to explore the following tools and concepts:
Using Minecraft Education Edition to support learning through play and creativity.

Basic experience or willingness to learn Scratch, App Inventor, CodePen, or VS Code.

Understanding of simple coding concepts using blocks or beginner-friendly languages like Python or HTML/CSS/JS.

Interest in UI/UX design using tools like Canva or beginner platforms such as Visily.

Ability to use or learn simple video/audio editing tools like CapCut, Clipchamp, or Audacity.

Curious about Augmented Reality (AR) and 3D creation, especially using tools like -MergeEDU, MyWebAR, or Tinkercad.

Open to experimenting with AI/ML in education using beginner tools like Teachable Machine.

Basic understanding or willingness to learn the use of Git and GitHub for collaboration.
