Job description
We are looking for a Python Backend technician to be in charge of developing paid-related products.
The project includes payment processing, provider integrations, trade management, money, transactions, balances, risk controls, reporting and internal back-office tools.
This task combines practical development, technical leadership, architectural responsibility and collaboration with Product, QA and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Lead the backend development of payment products.
Define technical and architectural decisions of the system.
Design scalable backend solutions for complex payment flows.
Ensure delivery, quality and stability of the backend in production.
Coordinate and guide the backend development team.
Review code and technical solutions.
Participate in integrations with providers and payment methods.
Supervise transaction systems, balances, limits, risk and reporting.
Guarantee the stability, performance and scalability of systems.
Identify technical risks and propose improvements.
Collaborate with Product, QA and stakeholders.
Translate business requirements into clear technical solutions.
Requirements:
More than 7 years of experience developing backend.
Experience with Python 3.x and Django.
Experience as a technical leader, backend leader or senior engineer with technical responsibility.
Experience coordinating teams or backend development tasks.
Experience in complex and high-load backend systems.
Knowledge of transactional systems, idempotence and competition.
Knowledge in systems architecture, integrations and distributed systems.
Experience with glues and asynchronous processing.
Experience with databases and data consistency (PostgreSQL).
Experience in performance optimization.
Experience with RabbitMQ and Redis or similar technologies.
Experience with monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or similar).
Practical profile (approx. 50–60% hands-on coding).
Ability to review code, guide development and maintain engineering standards.
Fluid Russian.
English at intermediate level.
