About the position

Work from home on a large-scale voice recognition AI project. We are looking for detailed Spanish-speaking people from Mexico to transcribe and annotate long-form podcast recordings (30-60+ minutes). 100% remote work (home office) with flexible hours: you decide how much to work according to the available tasks. Payment of $5.00 USD per hour (approx. $92 MXN), paid in dollars.

What will you do

-Accurately transcribe full-length podcast recordings following project guidelines
-Identify different speakers and assign consistent speaker tags with exact timestamps
-Mark the limits of speaking turns and segment the audio
-Record the perceived gender of each speaker
-Report audio issues: unclear or distorted speech, heavy accents, incorrect language, synthetic or AI-generated audio
-Check and correct pre-annotated segments when necessary
-Deliver work that meets project quality standards (all work goes through quality control)

What are we looking for?

-Spanish (from Mexico) with native level fluency (CEFR C2)
-Current residence in Mexico (required)
-English level B2 or higher (CEFR), written and spoken: the project guides and tools are in English
-Excellent listening comprehension and great attention to detail
-Experience transcribing long audios (desirable)

Pay and workload

-$5.00 USD per hour; billable time is recorded in the task platform
-Tasks are posted each week on a first-come, first-served basis; volume varies depending on the week
-Work as much or as little as you want, up to 10 billable hours a day
-The typical unit of homework is a full podcast episode – be prepared for long sessions of focused listening

Integrity

All transcription must be done manually. The use of automatic speech recognition or AI transcription tools is strictly prohibited and detected in quality control.
