Job Description Objective of the position: Responsible for carrying out processes of advising on academic initiatives and assigned students, guiding students throughout their academic career. The Virtual Tutor will be a key member of the student success team, helping students plan and achieve their academic goals by providing individualized academic advising, coordinating progress monitoring, and contributing to institutional retention and graduation initiatives.Main Functions: Comprehensive academic management and advisingProvide support academic progress to students by attending to queries, permanent feedback, evaluation of learning activities and continuous monitoring of academic progress, identifying risk situations and coordinating the necessary interventions in accordance with institutional protocols. Compliance with academic quality protocols and standards Guarantee compliance with the guidelines, goals and objectives of the academic accompaniment system; apply quality control mechanisms (rubrics, evaluation and review of reports) and collaborate with the different institutional actors to promote the success, retention and timely graduation of students.
