This role is hands-on and focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing high-quality, responsive websites for multiple clients. You will work closely with project managers, designers, and copywriters to translate business and design requirements into functional, scalable, and performance-driven websites. The ideal candidate is technically solid, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple projects at once, and experienced working in agency or fast-paced environments.\n\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop, publish, and maintain custom, fully responsive WordPress websites using modern best practices.\nCollaborate with project managers, designers, and copywriters to translate design mockups into functional web pages.\nConfigure and manage WordPress environments, including themes, plugins (free and premium), and page builders such as Elementor.\nPerform ongoing website maintenance, including content updates, bug fixes, and performance improvements.\nOptimize websites for speed, scalability, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.\nImplement SEO best practices, including meta tags, plugin configuration, and performance optimization.\nSet up and manage integrations with third-party tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, CRMs, booking systems, and payment platforms.\nConfigure and customize WooCommerce sites, including payment gateways, checkout logic, and basic webhooks.\nConduct testing, debugging, and performance audits using tools such as Lighthouse, GTmetrix, or PageSpeed Insights.\nSupport website migrations, hosting configuration, and domain management, ensuring security and uptime.\nMaintain organized, documented, and up-to-date code repositories.\nProvide timely web support and communicate implemented changes clearly to stakeholders.\nAssist and provide technical guidance to junior developers when needed.\n\nRequirements:\n3+ years of experience in web development with a strong focus on WordPress.\nSolid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.\nHands-on experience with Elementor and other WordPress page builders, including basic custom widgets or shortcodes.\nExperience working with multiple WordPress environments (development, staging, and production).\nStrong understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.\nFamiliarity with databases (SQL and basic NoSQL concepts) and server/hosting management.\nKnowledge of web security best practices.\nUnderstanding of UI/UX principles and experience working with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.\nFamiliarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) is a plus.\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nClear written and verbal communication skills.\nExperience working in digital agencies or marketing environments is a plus.\n\nWork Setup Requirements:\nTo perform this role effectively, you must have:\nA quiet home office space to work optimally.\nA stable internet connection (minimum 100 MB).\nA laptop/desktop with updated software.\nA secondary backup internet option to ensure reliability.",
