Job Description
We are looking for a Marketing Copywriter with experience in advertising writing in German and English to create persuasive and conversion-oriented content on multiple digital channels. The selected person will work in a dynamic e-commerce environment, optimizing messages to maximize CTR and conversions.
Responsibilities:
Write persuasive texts in German for marketing campaigns in social ads, email, push notifications, SMS, print and catalogs.
Adapt the copy to the brand tone (minimalist, elegant, approachable and conversion-oriented).
Collaborate with creative teams (design, video and marketing) to ensure consistency in campaigns.
Support the localization of weekly campaigns, product launches and seasonal content.
Review and audit creatives to ensure quality, consistency and absence of errors.
Collaborate with paid search (SEM) teams to optimize copy aimed at CTR and conversion.
Work with SEO, merchandising and engineering teams to optimize web and app content.
Maintain and evolve the brand tone guide in German.
Analyze copywriting trends in the German market and competition.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Use AI tools to improve the efficiency and scalability of content.
Collect customer insights in collaboration with customer support teams.
Requirements:
3 to 5 years of copywriting experience in German and English.
Experience in e-commerce, fashion, lifestyle or retail (valued).
Mastery of British English and its nuances compared to other variants.
Experience writing for SEM campaigns (valued).
Experience with tools such as Smartling and Iterable (valued).
Ability to work in dynamic, high-content-load environments.
Excellent attention to detail and conversion orientation.
