Job Description

At BC Tecnología we are looking for a Full Stack Developer with a focus on frontend and knowledge in data to join, 100% remotely, an important institution in the banking sector. You will participate in the development and evolution of solutions that sustain the operational continuity of your IT services.

If you like programming with quality, you move with ease between frontend and backend and you are also interested in the world of data, this opportunity is for you!

What will you do?

Create and modify pieces of software for changes and for process automation.
Program functional, maintainable and quality code in frontend and backend, in agile teams together with the Product Owner and the technical leader.
Raise and analyze functional and technical requirements, and propose improvements in processes, systems and technologies.
Develop solutions that make efficient use of computational resources (memory, disk and processor).
Perform and maintain unit tests in each sprint, and participate in end-to-end testing certification.
Validate the pieces of software created or modified in the different environments of the bank.

Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering or Execution Engineering, in its various specialties.
At least 2 years of software development experience.
Advanced level in HTML (latest versions), cross-browser compatible CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and responsive design.
Experience with JavaScript MVC frameworks such as AngularJS or Backbone.
Knowledge of web and mobile development.
Knowledge of Power BI, Datalake and ETL processes.

Desirable

Experience in the banking or financial sector.
Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum).
